Nearly eight months after an F-4 tornado ripped through Jackson County, a special recovery team formed to help victims is nearing the end of its relief efforts.
HEMSI has two portable hospitals on standby for Hurricane Gustav that have the ability to serve 50 patients for up to seven days.
While many are driving north, one volunteer here in the Valley is headed south to wait out Gustav.
